Our specialist supported living development in North Walsham in Norfolk has provided 16 people with the keys to their own front door.

Developing a specialist supported living scheme means working together as a team: developer, local authority and the local community.

Our community engagement and effective communications was key to ensuring the effective delivery of this high-quality development which is a textbook example of a supported living development.

Perfectly designed

We place great attention to the local community when designing and developing our schemes. A positive public consultation and good community relations with local ward councillors and the local MP was a key priority for our development. team.

Our focus on quality and design that perfectly blended in with the surrounding environment was appreciated by the commissioning team.

Quality accommodation

Fully accessible development and design ethos means that we worked closely with our architects, construction team and the commissioning team to ensure that the development was perfectly suited to the tenants who were identified to live in the new development. It's a place where people are proud to live.

Technology enabled development

The property has sixteen one-bedroom apartments, each with a spacious open plan kitchen and dining room, and a large bathroom with a wet room style shower. The service will is split between 12 enablement apartments for people with greater levels of independence and four complex needs apartments for those requiring higher levels of support.

Assistive technology is tailored to suit the needs of each person and includes an intercom and CCTV.
