HBV Group was proud to team up with our care provider partner at our new-build development for people with disabilities in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

We partnered up with Real Life Options to support the Arena Community Food Bank as demand continues to grow for its services.

Food parcels collected by Real Life Options and HBV Group were dropped off at Curves Ilkeston Gym and Cotmanhay People’s Centre as part of a four-mile walk undertaken to raise more than £300 for the Arena Community Foodbank.

We are are collaborating to deliver a new-build development comprising twenty apartments expected to be completed later this year when tenants will begin the process of moving in after being referred by adult social care professionals at Derbyshire County Council.

HBV Group continues deliver a pipeline of new build supported living accommodation throughout the UK in 2022.

We’ve already delivered 50+ developments in England to help local disabled adults live more independently.

“It feels extremely good to be able to see so many professionals, from different organisations, creating connections and making a positive impact on the local community here in Ilkeston. We’d like to thank Leanne Parry, Jo McGuire and Kathleen Taylor for all their support and Sophie from Curves Ilkeston, who agreed to organise mobility activities for those who were unable to walk the full distance. We are proud to be delivering care support at our new scheme in Ilkeston and we’re already recruiting staff to join us in the coming months so this has given us a good opportunity to recruit local people ahead of the official launch later this year.”

“We’re delighted to see work begin at this site to bring new housing for local people with disabilities. We need to ensure that the most vulnerable people in our society are well supported in suitable accommodation and out in the local community. Everyone involved in this walk recognises the need for specialist supported living accommodation for the local community’s most vulnerable people. "Many of the tenants living here will be having the keys to their own front door for the first time in their lives which will be a tremendous boost to their independence and a positive impact on their lives.”
